The story of this original work comes from a few years back when I was living near a marsh. I collected water weekly for 3 months from the brackish marsh and let it evaporate in white bowls.

For an installation in a gallery show these bowls were placed on the floor and every dried ring of water was a slightly different colour. This made for a calming mesmerizing overview of activities in the water in one lived locale.
